THE BOAT

Ocean Pearl II is a 33ft lochin boat which is ideally suited to ground fishing and inside wrecking.  She is built to house 9 people and has the usual amenities for your safety and comfort, including life saving equipment, a flush loo and a kettle for making soups and hot drinks.

THE SKIPPER

My name is Ernie and I am the owner and skipper of Ocean Pearl II.  I have over 30 years experience of boats, sea and all types of fishing.  I operate from The Marina at Newhaven Harbour, East Sussex and I am insured to take up to 9 people.  I have an excellent knowledge of good fishing areas.  My 30 year experience means your enjoyment and safety at all times.  For the past 11 years I have skippered and owned a charter boat.

I enjoy helping the beginner right through to the seasoned fisherman/woman.  You will experience a relaxing and enjoyable day out.  My boat is also ideal for photo shoots and filming.

I was owner and skipper of a trawler boat at Newhaven for over 20 years and I am a fully qualified trawler man.  I hold the necessary qualifications for charter fishing to ensure your safety at all times.  After work and evenings trips can be arranged as well as stag and hen trips.
